2024 TCS London Marathon
The TCS London Marathon has become one of the most sought-after Abbott World Marathon Majors races. Known for its flat scenic course, world-class competition, and excellent organization, this gem of a marathon will have you feeling like royalty when you cross the finish line on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
The first London Marathon was held on March 29, 1981 and more than 20,000 applied to run. From this pool only 6,747 were accepted and 6,255 crossed the finish line on Constitution Hill. Marathon Tours & Travel established a relationship with the London Marathon team and hosted our first trip in 1982. Entering our 43rd year supporting London as a global business we are pleased that Marathon Tours & Travel is an official Australian Tour operator for the TCS London Marathon.
Our goal is to be your running concierge and provide packages, which offer features that will make your trip a memorable one. Our hotel options, welcome reception, optional guided tour of Windsor Castle and transfer to the race start have been carefully refined based on more than 40 years of client feedback. Our Deluxe Package option also gives you the opportunity to participate in a guided London City Tour with a stop at the TCS London Marathon Expo, enjoy a group pre-race pasta dinner, and affords you more time to explore the magical city of London. The hotels we select are within a short walking distance from the finish, as well as iconic places such as Hyde Park, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, and the Houses of Parliament.
